The cover for I Was Just Wondering Around is a screengrab from Near Equal, a film about master Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama. The subtitle, no doubt inadvertently translated, nonetheless sums up what my own photos are about. I’ve learned an enormous amount from Daido. This book is dedicated to him.
